Cinch Saddle
What's the use of the Back Cinch on a Western Saddle?
Does it help keep the saddle on, it seems too lose in help hold it in place. What's the use of it? I don't feel comfortable riding without one, but I don't know what it's used for, either. O.o
Roping; when a steer is roped and pulling on the saddle in front of the horse, the rope dallied around the horn will cause the saddle to tip up; the back of the saddle will rise up. The rear cinch will keep it down and keep to much pressure from being applied to the withers through leverage
