Do you think advanced means of identification?
is the mark of the beast? I realize there are many people who dont believe the Bible. Not really talking to you, more talking to people who DO believe in the Bible. And this is assuming that you are NOT forced to have these things.
But, things like finger print id, dna, rfdi chips?
How do you feel about things like driver's license as means of identification?
How do you feel about using these things to access your monetary acconts? Like using a finger print to access your bank account? How is that any different than using your atm card and pin number? How do you feel about the rfdi chips in many identification cards used in building locks or the tap to spend credit cards? What about the EZPass for tool booths?
If you are against these things, how do you handle being required to use them at work?
What about eye scanning? If you are against it, how would you feel if you needed to use them for clearance at work?
I believe that society has the right to do what is necessary to protect its security and if advanced means of identification are necessary to do so, then so be it. I personally find that I would prefer to have to positively identify myself to protect my own interests, whether they are connected to my religion, my work/vocation, my personal finances, or to ease my way in traveling certain of my state's highways.
While I do not like the necessity of such, the criminal elements of society has made this necessary.
That said, the warnings against the "mark of the beast" in Revelation may be coming, yes. There may be a day wherein we cannot transact any business with "the world" without using some visible means (a barcode on our foreheads, for instance) and that day will definitely spell the end of society as we know it, for 1984 will be mild in comparison to what will go on in such a society. Just ask the Jews and other suppressed peoples who had to endure Hitler's German society.
