Hackamore Bosal
Sorry for all of these Bitless Bridle questions but 1 more for now! lol?
Again, the horse I might be getting wears a bosal hackamore. Well, I want to do jumping with him. I love riding bitless, and i have tons of control, and sometimes it seems like I have more control, without a bit than with a bit.
So I would do jumping with him. I heard of the jumping hackamore bridle. The one that is basically an english bridles but without a bit?? I like it!
Can you guys give me more info on it? like, pros, cons, (not control cons) where I could get them, what are some brands? I just want a jumping hackamore!

If you are planning on using a hackamore with shanks, the only thing I would caution you against is using a Curb Chain of any kind....use a leather Curb Strap.
This type of bridle was very popular with the people I grew up around, and EVERY SINGLE horse I saw ridden with it tossed its head.
Apparently the curb chain puts more pressure on the chin than the noseband does on the nose, and the horses natural reaction is to raise and toss his head.
