HD Camcorder Fails to show up properly?
I'm using my Sony HDR-SR12 and I just transferred my video files to my hard drive.
However, the videos were showing up half screen.
by that i mean, there are black borders on the top and bottom of the video.
when i transferred the videos to a dvd, the videos showed up with the black top and bottom borders.
any help with that? the borders don't look good when played on a HDTV. (I played it on 4 different media players) It sucks. Please help!!!
i want to play it full screen, without the borders!!! my recording quality is already full HD!
i only want to remove the black borders... i'm using Vegas Pro btw.. vegas pro 8.. but the borders are fuckky. anyone know how to fix?? i want to make it look clean even on a standard dvd.. i made other dvds with my JVC Everio and it turned out really cool. without those damn borders!!! anyone care to help?? please??

It looks as if you have recorded your clips in wide screen or 16.9. I don't know what your playback programme is but if youcan set it to Full screen or theatre mode this MAY overcome your problem.
