DVD Camcorder Questions?
I was looking at buying a Sony HDR-UX1. It records HD onto DVD. I was planning to use it for shooting sports. I was wandering if it will skip or anything while I'm filming because I will probably be following someone on my snowboard or skateboard. Do DVDs do that?
Also, I was wandering how much the quality of the video suffers because of being compressed onto DVD.
1 more thing: Does anyone have any experience or know anything about the Slow Motion recording deal on this camera? That would be super handy for me. I just wanted to know how well it works. Thanks!
i dont think it will skip. i just recently bought a minidvd camera. the quality of the video wont suffer if u go to setting and high quality but u have HD? if u do and it is an HD camera the DVD will be filled up fairly quickly (not sure exactly how quick). u can also buy the new ones that come with harddrives.
