Horse Boot
If I boot my horse up front, do I have to boot him in the back too?
I'm looking into some open-front boots for my horse, and I was just wondering if I can leave him without boots in the back, or if I should get Ankle Boots. We don't jump that high (3'ish), and we don't show jumpers, so it's just for schooling. Thanks!
You don't need boots on behind just because you have them on front, unless there is a particular reason for your horse's needs. Ankle boots don't even offer support, they are just there in case your horse hits himself. Most horses hit themselves occasionally, but it's usually nothing to worry about, so I'd just save some money and stick with the open fronts and nothing behind.
