Horse Clippers
Can anyone recommend good horse clippers?
I was wondering if anyone could recommend good horse clippers that will leave at least 1/2" of hair left!!!!
I would be doing a full body clip too!!!
If you're going to be doing body clips, then go with a SUNBEAM. My big body clippers are now nearly 30 years old and with a little maintaince still work fine. A little oil here, a little clipper grease there and they run as well as they did in 1980 when I got them. The amount of coat you leave on depends on the size of clipper blades that are on your clippers.
For bridle pathing, whiskers, ears etc, go with the wahl cordless clippers, they are relatively cheap, easy to maintain and you can put them in your back pocket.
