Rough Out
Is there a way to smooth out the metal on your silverware if it gets rough?
One of my forks as a really rough edge to it, that if we use it, it will probably cut our mouth. So I've got that set aside. It's probably from putting them in the dishwasher.
I was just wondering if there was a way to save this fork and smooth it out so that we can still use it? I'd like to be able to file it, but I'm afraid filing it will cause it to rust eventually.
Any tips?

File it, then sand paper it, then use steel wool to make it really smooth. It won't rust because it's Stainless Steel all the way through.
