I need to buy a 19" Western Saddle with a wider tree? I don't want to spend tons for a custom saddle. HELP!?

Thanks, but he is a QH, a formally malnourished 16.1 hand QH, who has a LONG back giant haunches and can't fit in a typical QH tree.
Yes, we really do need a true 19" seat size. My man is very BIG, not fat, just BIG. He's 6'7". We have tried out saddles and an 18 1/2" is just a bit too tight. A 19" is perfect. They have ONE at our local tack shop, but it won't fit our horse. I'm thinking seriously about that draft cross saddle idea!
Look at Big Horn. http://www.horsesaddleshop.com/draft-cordura-saddle.html they make a draft Draft-cross tree which should work for a horse that doesnt fit in a full QH tree.. As for the 19 inch seat... thats a custom order unless your measuring differently then most folks. 17 1/2 is pretty commonly the largest seat...Big horns last like nothing else.. my endurance model.. is 15 years old now and still looks brand new. Sad thing though the company stoped making saddles 10/2008.. so whats out there is all there is now.
