Do they make a pet seat to attach to a Horse Saddle?
I was curious, if you wanted to take a small dog with you on a Trail Ride, is there a seat, a box or basket that you can attach to your saddle, where you can strap them in with a short leash? Maybe something that sits in the back...

She is a pretty small dog and I was thinking of something like a basket so the dog sits in that with no paws on the horse. SHe is not a barker and the horse is pretty familiar with my dog already. And just like the dog baskets for bicycles, I was hoping it would come with a strap or harness to keep buckled in. Obvi not a necessity, just was curious.
No, but you will see some older saddles with rings on them, or whatever....you could attach something to that. Or just buy some really big Saddle Bags. Im pretty sure they dont make doggie baskets for your saddle- with most dogs or small animals, it isnt a good idea to take them along up there with you.
