Replica of Jusus Christus 1874 Gab Max Published A-233 By Close' Gramam &Skully' Inc. NY, NY. The orginal is of jesus wipping his face with a muslin cloth and we have a lithograph of Jesus with his face on the muslin cloth; we believe to our knowlede there are only 30 made, we also believe it to come form Germany, and it is 3 dementional, the color of the portrait is a tan and Dark Brown. Jesus has a crown of thornes placed and indented into and around his head with a trickle of blood from his forehead down to the his right side of his face and a tear drop assending from his left eye, His hair is sholder length, eyes open and close and move with your movement as if he can follow you, depending on the light and the direction your standing. Frame is Hand Made as well as hand carved and is stained to a rich oak color. The number on the back of the portraite says 3/30. We were wondering if this is the third copy out of the 30 made?
Yes I would say that is the 3rd of 30 that were made. I would take it to a reputable art dealer to get it appraised.
