Western Gaited
Where can I find a Western Saddle?
A normal looking, Square Skirt, Leather Western saddle for gaited horses????? Please don't say something obvious like "a tack store".
There are no tack stores within any reasonable driving distance from where I live.
And I really can't afford a saddle over $700, and thats stretching it.

I would consider any of the above types of saddles, although I'm not a fan of western spring tree or Flex Tree saddles. I think the flex technology for western trees isn't as good as the English trees, for some reason.
I own Crestridge saddles-- they can be Custom Made with more skirt if you wish.
However, please remember that many gaited horses have shorter backs and more flexibility and movement in their loin area and hips. A full skirted western saddle often rubs or inhibits your Gaited Horse when it gaits. That's why so many gaited saddles are made cut away or with rounded/recessed skirts.

He had little trouble winning against stock horses in horsemanship at the fair. We just made sure the rest of his outfit was professional, and the judge didn't seem to mind the cut away skirts.
